One of our own, defender Molly Bartrip re-joined us in July, 2021.
Her arrival signalled her return to the club at which she began her footballing journey as a young player, having turned out for our Under-10s in the mid-2000s before going on to spend time in the youth systems at Charlton Athletic and Arsenal.
Previously, she had spent her entire senior career with fellow WSL side Reading, joining them in 2014 and going on to make more than 100 competitive appearances before leaving the Madejski Stadium at the end of the 2020/21 season.
Alongside centre-back partner Zadorsky, Bartrip made the joint-most appearances in all competitions across 2021/22 with 28. She kept 11 clean sheets.
She also scooped the PFA Community Champion award after her work away from the pitch to raise awareness around the importance of mental health.
