Player Season Stats

Full-back Ashleigh Neville was our Player of the Season in her first campaign with us – 2017/18 – following her move from Coventry United Ladies.

Operating at left-back, she impressed again in the FA Women's Championship in 2018/19, starting 19 of our 20 games and scoring four goals, including two memorable second-half headers to complete a stunning turnaround at Charlton in April, 2019 – a result that saw us take a giant leap towards securing promotion.

She picked up the FA Women’s Championship Player of the Month award for that same month – the first defender to claim the prize – and produced a last-ditch goal-line clearance in the 1-1 draw at Aston Villa in May, 2019, that finally saw us over the line and secured a place in the top tier.

Additionally, she started both of our matches in the FA Women’s Cup, scoring in the 3-0 win at Crystal Palace in February, 2019, and added another four starts in the Continental Tyres Cup.

Stepping up to the Barclays FA Women's Super League with us in 2019/20, she played mainly at right-back and made 16 appearances in all competitions, once again proving herself to be a reliable figure in the team.

She again featured at right-back during the 2020/21 campaign, scoring twice in 12 WSL appearances and playing a further five times in the cup competitions.

In 2021/22, Neville scored two goals and kept six clean sheets in 26 appearances in all competitions, and, after making more than 100 appearances in total for Spurs, was nominated for the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Player of the Season award at the end of the campaign.
