Team news | Bartrip to be assessed ahead of West Ham opener

Fri 05 September 2025, 14:40|Tottenham Hotspur

Martin Ho has reported that Molly Bartrip faces a late fitness test ahead of our Barclays Women’s Super League season opener against West Ham United on Sunday.

Molly has been ruled out since sustaining a knock in our pre-season friendly clash with Sevilla last month, missing the following fixtures against Arsenal and Southampton, and will be assessed ahead of this weekend's London derby at Brisbane Road (kick-off 12noon UK).

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, he said: "Molly has a bit of a knock, she’s been out of the last two games, so we’re assessing her. That's it really."

Long-term absentees in defenders Ella Morris and Luana Buhler remain unavailable with our Head Coach otherwise reporting a clean bill of health amongst the squad for the opening game of the campaign.

Martin added: "The long-term ones before I was here, Ella and Luana, are still the same.

"They’re the ones who are really missing [for the weekend], we’ve had a few little knocks throughout, but a lot of those players have trained today.

"Apart from the long-term absentees, and Molly, we seem to be in a really good place."
