Yang Min-Hyeok and Mikey Moore both registered important assists for their respective loan clubs on Saturday.

South Korea forward Yang was instrumental in Portsmouth escaping with a point from a 1-1 draw at Leicester City in the Championship.

Having hit the bar during a first half in which Pompey had fallen behind to Aaron Ramsey’s goal, he led a 58th-minute breakaway before setting up John Swift to equalise for the visitors.

Yang completed 74 minutes before being withdrawn.

Attacking midfielder Mikey, meanwhile, came off the bench to help managerless Rangers salvage a point at home to Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.

Introduced as part of a triple change in the 83rd minute with his side 2-1 down at Ibrox, Mikey needed only four minutes to make his mark, setting up skipper James Tavernier for a powerful shot to make it 2-2.

That’s how it stayed, with Rangers’ wait for a first home league win of the season continuing.
