Loan update | Moore off the mark for Rangers

Mon 10 November 2025, 07:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Mikey Moore scored his first goal for Rangers – and had a second disallowed – in his loan club’s 3-0 win at Dundee on Sunday.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has experienced a range of emotions during his stint in Scotland so far, enduring a string of disappointing results and a change of manager.

But he was instrumental in Rangers’ excellent victory this weekend as they continued their revival under new boss Danny Rohl, notching up their third league triumph in a row.

Following Nicolas Raskin’s early opener, Mikey opened his account with a smart strike from 18 yards out to make it 2-0 after just 14 minutes.

He thought he’d scored again shortly afterwards, but his effort was ruled out after Mohamed Diomande was deemed to have interfered with goalkeeper Jon McCracken’s view of an initial attempt from Danilo.

Djeidi Gassama completed the scoring with a fine curler in the 90th minute.

Mikey was substituted mid-way through the second half at Dens Park.

It was his ninth appearance in the Scottish Premiership and 17th for Rangers overall.
