Yang Min-Hyeok earned his second senior cap for South Korea in their 2-0 home friendly victory over Bolivia on Friday.

Yang – currently on loan at Portsmouth – came off the bench for the final five minutes with the score at 1-0.

Our former captain Heung-Min Son got the ball rolling with South Korea’s first goal, a fine free-kick, with Cho Gue-Sung adding a second two minutes from time at the Daejeon World Cup Stadium.

Yang’s only previous senior international appearance came in March of this year in a 1-1 home draw with Jordan in World Cup qualifying.

Elsewhere on Friday, our 16-year-old midfielder Armend Muslika started for Albania in their clash with Croatia in Euro Under-17 Championship qualifying but couldn’t prevent his side from conceding three times against the host nation in the first half.

Armend, who has nine goals in as many league games for our Under-18s this season, was replaced after 56 minutes and there was no further score in the game, with proceedings ending 3-0.
