Matter of stats | Our final day record in WSL

Fri 09 May 2025, 09:00|Tottenham Hotspur

We defend a record of having never lost a game on the final day of the Barclays Women’s Super League as we wrap up the 2024/25 campaign with a trip to Everton on Saturday (12.30pm UK).

In fact, we’re the only team in the WSL to have never lost on the final weekend of the WSL, winning three and drawing once in four matches (excluding the curtailed 2019/20 campaign).

That draw came against West Ham in May, 2023, which was a 2-2 draw in Dagenham, while we’ve picked up victories over the Hammers (2024), Leicester City (2022) and Birmingham City (2021).

However, we travel to Merseyside with an unwanted record against the Toffees, failing to win in our last five WSL games there (D2, L3).

Bethany England, our leading goalscorer this term in all competitions, will look to add to her tally of eights so far and our skipper has scored the most goals on the final day of fixtures in the WSL (six).
