We will proudly be supporting Inside Matters - the Premier League’s mental health campaign - at this weekend’s game against Crystal Palace.
Inside Matters encourages fans to check in on the wellbeing of others and comes ahead of UK Mental Health Awareness Week (12-18 May).
Research shows football helps to connect people and start conversations, and to encourage fans to initiate conversations around mental health.

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is delivering Ahead of the Game, a programme comprised of one-hour workshops focused on mental health awareness for young people, coaches and parents involved in sports.
The workshops, delivered in partnership with Movember and the Rugby League, provide a safe space to discuss the mental health challenges young athletes may face and offer strategies for support.
The Foundation is also supporting Inside Matters by delivering Premier League Primary Stars sessions aimed at boosting resilience and wellbeing in local primary schools.
Simon Wears, Foundation health and wellbeing manager, said: “We’re delivering workshops to address the rising mental health challenges faced by adolescents.
“Ahead of the Game is one of a growing list of initiatives we’re implementing to support local residents as we know early intervention can help prevent escalation, promote emotional resilience and reduce stigma.
“We encourage fans to use their love of the game as a catalyst to reach out and make a difference. The power of a conversation can be truly powerful.”
To help fans access professional support, the Premier League is collaborating with Shout - a free, confidential 24/7 text support service for anyone in the UK who is struggling with their mental health, run by Mental Health Innovations.
