Team news | Positive update from Ange ahead of Fulham

Fri 14 March 2025, 13:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Ange Postecoglou has reported the squad is looking 'pretty good' ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Fulham.

Having seen the team disrupted by injuries over the last few months, it was a most welcome update from Ange, especially after we sealed our progression in the Europa League on Thursday night with victory over AZ Alkmaar.

From that game, our Head Coach reported that everyone had got through it well, and that includes Micky van de Ven, who was taken off on the hour mark against the Dutch side.

The defender, who has missed a fair chunk of our season with muscular issues, is having his minutes managed currently as he continues his return to full fitness.

Asked how the squad was looking ahead of the trip to Craven Cottage in his press conference on Friday afternoon, Ange responded, "(It's looking) pretty good. (There's) nothing (to report) from last night. Everyone got through it well."

After serving his Europa League suspension, Rodrigo Bentancur is back and available for selection on Sunday.

Fraser Forster, Antonin Kinsky, Sergio Reguilon and Timo Werner are also all back and available after being ineligible for the clash with AZ.

Kevin Danso, Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison remain sidelined through injury.
