The opposition

Blackburn come into this one 20th in the table, just four points ahead of us, albeit having played a game less.

Rovers started their campaign by winning just two of their opening 10 league games as they lost each of their first five before beating Leicester 3-2 in October. They waited until mid-December to taste victory again in a 4-2 win away at Leeds.

Rovers picked up back-to-back home wins in February and March, beating Nottingham Forest 3-2 before keeping their second clean sheet of the season in a 2-0 win against Norwich City. They still have a slim chance of qualifying for the PL2 play-offs.

However, Tuesday night saw a difficult evening for Rovers at Princes Park in Dartford as they suffered a 7-0 defeat against Charlton Athletic in the Premier League Cup Round of 16.

Mike Sheron's side are also out of the Central League Cup as wins against Carlisle and Morecambe sandwiched by a costly defeat to Burnley were enough to see them eliminated on goal difference, whilst they also finished bottom of their National League Cup group, picking up just one point from four games in that competition.

They picked up a 3-1 win against Borussia Monchengladbach but were ultimately eliminated from the Premier League International Cup and were knocked out of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup by Bolton Wanderers' B team last month.

Of their 35 competitive fixtures so far this season, they've won 10, drawn seven and lost 18.

What kit will we be in?

We'll be in our traditional Lilywhite shirts with navy blue sleeves, navy blue shorts and white socks, whilst our goalkeeper will be in our all-yellow kit.

Blackburn will be in their away kit - a black and red striped shirt, red shorts with black and red socks. Their goalkeeper will be in an all-green attire.

Ref Watch

Oliver Mackey is the man in the middle for this one. He also took charge of Rovers' 7-2 defeat to Crystal Palace back in August.

He'll be assisted by Alexander Shipp and Laurentiu Hantea, whilst the fourth official is Morgan Conn.
