Summanen & Ahtinen named in Finland squad for Euros

Olga Ahtinen and Eveliina Summanen have been named in Finland’s squad for Euro 2025 next month.
A constant in the Finland squad in since making their debuts in 2017, the midfield duo will represent their nation at their second major international tournament – the previous one coming at the European Championships in 2022.
Heading into this summer’s tournament in Switzerland, Olga and Eveliina have 75 caps to their name to date having both been regulars throughout the qualifying phase last year.
As part of preparations for the Finals next month, Finland will face the Netherlands on Thursday 26 June (7pm UK) in a warm-up friendly at the Cambur Stadion in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.
Their Euro 2025 campaign kicks off in Group A against Iceland on Wednesday 2 July (5pm UK) before taking on Norway in the second game on Sunday 6 July (5pm UK). They round off their group phase against the hosts, Switzerland, on Thursday 10 July (8pm UK).
