Amanda Nilden has been named in the Sweden National Team squad for Euro 2025.

Named in Peter Gerhardsson’s squad for their UEFA Nations League clashes earlier this month, the full-back has maintained her spot in her nation’s final squad for this summer’s major tournament.

The call-up comes with just under a month until Sweden’s opening game of the competition – a Group C with Denmark at Stade de Geneve in Lancy, Switzerland on 4 July.

They will then face Poland four days later at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo before taking on Germany on 12 July at Stadion Letzigrund in Zurich for their final game of the group phase.

Ahead of the tournament though, Sweden will face Norway in an international friendly on Thursday 26 June at Ullevaal Stadion.

This will be Amanda’s second call-up to a major tournament with her nation, having been involved in Sweden’s Euro squad in 2022 as they reached the semi-final of the competition before losing out to eventual winners England.
