Araya Dennis has been called up to the England squad for this summer’s UEFA Under-19 European Championship Finals in Poland.

The 19-year-old forward has been named in Lauren Smith’s 21-played squad for the upcoming Euro Finals, which begins on Sunday (15 June).

Drawn in Group B for the competition, the Young Lionesses start their campaign against the Netherlands on Sunday (5pm UK) before facing Portugal three days later (5pm UK). Smith’s side will wrap up the group phase on Saturday 21 June (7pm UK) against the reigning champions Spain.

The top two teams from the two groups qualify for the semi-finals, which is set to take place on Tuesday 24 June.

Araya, who scored her first goal for the Club in December, 2024, in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Subway Women’s League Cup, spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Southampton, where she made nine appearances for the Saints.
