Leo on target as Young Lions lift the Pinatar Super Cup

Academy star Leo Black opened his goalscoring account for England Under-18s on Monday, helping the Young Lions lift the Under-18 Pinatar Super Cup with a 2-1 victory over the Netherlands.

Having made his youth international debut in last Wednesday’s win over Czech Republic, the right-back registered his second appearance of this month’s mini-tournament in Spain – again as a starter – and marked the occasion by slotting home the opening goal in the first half.

England, who knew that a draw would be enough to see them lift the trophy, pressed on to win 2-1 and ensure they got their hands on the silverware, with Leo completing 67 minutes of the action before being substituted.
