Club shortlisted at the Women’s Football Awards

Tue 19 March 2024, 12:00|Tottenham Hotspur

We have been nominated in numerous categories at this year’s prestigious Women’s Football Awards.

Jessica Naz is up for the Young Football Player of the Year, with the 21-year-old scoring on four occasions this season and registering three assists in the Barclays Women’s Super League – the joint-highest at the Club.

Grace Clinton, who joined us on loan from Manchester United, has also been nominated for Young Football Player of the Year. The 20-year-old has been excellent form this season, where she has netted four goals in 15 WSL appearances and has earned a call-up to the senior England squad, scoring on her debut for the Lionesses last month.

We have also been shortlisted for the Best Club of the Year Award, while our Girls Elite Programme is up for the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award to recognise a ‘business or organisation that is going above and beyond to promote women’s football and create lasting and positive impact’.

Donna-Maria Cullen, our Executive Director, has been shortlisted for the Off the Pitch Award, which will be ‘presented to a hero who has shown dedication and passion for improving the beautiful game for women’.

The Young Football Player of the Year Award and the Best Club of the Year Award are both public votes and you can select your winner on womensfootballawards.com.

A judging panel will decide the award for the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and Off the Pitch, which will take place in April.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday 30 May in London, which will be hosted by Jamie Carragher and Eni Aluko.
