Eight wins and five consecutive clean sheets for Rodon at Leeds

Mon 19 February 2024, 15:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Joe Rodon helped Leeds United to extend their winning run in the Championship to eight games on Saturday afternoon as they ran out 2-0 winners at Plymouth Argyle.

Making his 33 appearance of his loan spell with the Whites, the defender played the full 90 minutes in the win at Home Park - his 24th consecutive start - and helped them to a fifth consecutive clean sheet in England's second tier.

With goals from Wilfried Gnonto and Georginio Rutter in Devon, Joe's side moved back up to second spot in the Championship with the win to sit two points ahead of Southampton in third.

In that run of eight wins, it was also Leeds' seventh clean sheet, with the centre-back not missing a minute in that run.

Meanwhile, lining up against Joe's Leeds that day were Ashley Phillips and Alfie Devine, who joined Plymouth on loan in January. Both played the full 90 minutes.
