Amanda Nildén could return for our final game of the calendar year as we travel to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday (5.30pm UK) in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
The Sweden international missed our trip to Crystal Palace in the Women’s League Cup on Wednesday night after she suffered with an illness, but Robert Vilahamn revealed that more players are back available for selection ahead of this weekend.
However, although Becky Spencer has returned to training, the experienced goalkeeper is unlikely to be involved for the WSL encounter against the Seagulls.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, he told the media: “It looks like more and more players are back in business.
“Becky [Spencer] was on the grass today but she has had a sickness and getting back from that, so she probably won’t be in the squad for tomorrow. Otherwise, we’re looking really strong.”
Amy James-Turner and Kit Graham both remain sidelined for this fixture.
