Dog of the Match | Man United, Carabao Cup
Thu 19 December 2024, 08:00|Tottenham Hotspur
As the Club for dog lovers, we are featuring a ‘Dog of the Match’ at every home game throughout the season.
Members of Tottenham Hotspaw - our first-ever Official Supporters’ Club for dog lovers - have been posting pictures of their beloved pets on the group’s Facebook page for a chance for them to be featured on the stadium big screens ahead of kick-off and in the matchday programme.
Today’s Dog of the Match is Lily, a miniature labradoodle who loves chasing tennis balls and tummy rubs, and whose mum Jo is a lifelong Spurs supporter from Kidderminster. Lily is short for ‘Lilywhite’ - a testament to her affiliation to the club - and would have been named Sonny had she been a male pup!
Alongside our ‘Dog of the Match’, we also profile rescue dogs currently up for adoption with All Dogs Matter – the fantastic charity partner of Tottenham Hotspaw - giving fans the chance to provide a forever home so badly needed.
Today, we are featuring Harvey - a four-year-old Jack Russell who is looking for an active home where he can become a loved pet. Harvey is a sweet bouncy boy and a very intelligent dog - he will need a good long walk every day alongside mental stimulation to keep him entertained. He is looking for a home with direct access to a garden and an owner who is around for most of the day. Harvey is fine with other dogs when out and about and could live with a playful female.
