Newcastle vs Spurs | How to watch, team news, kit colours, key information

Fri 12 April 2024, 18:50|Tottenham Hotspur

We have a chance to strengthen our position in fourth place when we visit eighth-placed Newcastle United in Saturday’s early kick-off in the Premier League (12.30pm UK).

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the match...

How can I watch the game?

Saturday’s fixture at St James’ Park will be televised live in the UK on TNT Sports 1, kick-off 12.30pm.

Live radio commentary will be available on talkSPORT.

Remember, you can also follow all the action via our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, where you’ll find live text updates and audio commentary, images, stats and more.

Video highlights will be available on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the game, with a full match replay available from midnight on the same platform.

If you’re following us from outside the UK, be sure to check out the overseas broadcast listings.

What is the team news?

Richarlison will again miss out for us this weekend with a knee issue, having also sat out of Sunday’s home win over Nottingham Forest.

Long-term absentees Fraser Forster (foot fracture), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Manor Solomon (knee) remain sidelined.

Newcastle’s Joe Willock has an Achilles problem and joins the likes of Nick Pope, Joelinton, Sven Botman, Jamaal Lascelles, Callum Wilson, Tino Livramento, Miguel Almiron, Lewis Miley and Kieran Trippier on the sidelines.

Lewis Hall will be assessed after missing training this week over tightness in his quadricep.

Who is the referee?

Tim Robinson will referee Saturday’s match, assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn.

The fourth official will be Oliver Langford.

On VAR duties this weekend, it’s Stuart Attwell, assisted by Sian Massey-Ellis.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Newcastle will play in their familiar black-and-white striped shirts, with black shorts and white socks.

We’ll therefore be wearing our ‘taupe haze’ third kit.

The hosts’ goalkeeper will be wearing fluorescent green, with ours wearing light blue.

What will the weather conditions be like?

There’ll be sunny intervals and a moderate breeze in Newcastle on Saturday, with temperatures at around 14 degrees.
